Today the Club’s membership holds AKC licensed Field Trials, Hunt Test and Conformation Specialty Shows in conjunction with local All-Breed shows. In 1979, the Club held its first Snake Avoidance Clinic to teach dogs to recognize and avoid rattlesnakes and has continued to hold one clinic each year as a service for the surrounding community. For social events the Club holds an annual Christmas party in December and a Wild Game Dinner in May. Periodically the club sponsors weekend training seminars with a professional dog trainer and members meet together to work with their dogs at the 200 acre club lease north of San Antonio.
